Before the NAVRO had their first NLD launch they organized a practice day at the motor test site. Here the launch tower is assembled.
All procedures were also practiced, like this one where Peter Heeren as pyro-technician walks with the (yet uncompleted) N4 rocket.
When we arrived on the launch site on Thursday Gerben-Jan Ligthart was presented with the N3, which was launched a year earlier on a NERO launch.
Road signs were placed for the guests both to and inside the shooting range.

The rocket motor was kept overnight in the trailer we used to transport our equipment to the launch site.
Friday before the launch Gerben-Jan Ligthart (centre) discusses the procedures and the expected flight path of N4 with sergeant Jongbloed.
The expected flight path of N4. The launch tower is a the center of the axes, the left "I" is the N4's landing spot and the right "I" its impact point if it crashed without parachuting.
Before the launch the guests were invited to see our new launch tower.
