NAVRO club house construction 21
Alblasserdam, 8 July, 2007 - Monday 2 July our friend Peter laid the floors in the workshop and storeroom. Friday
6 July he came back to glue the doormat to the floor in the hallway. Wednesday 4 July before our usual evening we did some
small jobs, like cleaning up and working on the bar. Peter Heeren and Elco Lagendijk made the ceiling for the
fume-cupboard.
Thursday 5 July Harry Advokaat made supports on the front and back sides of the bar and brought one of the tables to the
club house. Saturday 7 July Pleun Punt painted the wooden backing of the coat-hooks and together with Arjen Plaizier he
touched up the walls in the hallway. Arjen Plaizier also shortened a piece of the floor support of the bar and fixed a
support to the floor.
Sunday 8 July Peter Leemker screwed the coat-hooks to the wall. Fred van Arkel touched up more walls. The workbench was
placed in it's definitive corner and the last and the right drawers were fixed again. Because the weather was good finally
Elco Lagendijk painted the frame of the front door a second time and the front door itself for the first time. Fred van
Arkel cut the grass between the large concrete slab and the smaller ones and laid some stones in that gap. Pleun Punt
removed paint from the windows. We also brought the chairs to the club house.
