CanSat Launch 2010 picture page

ASK 't Harde, 10 June, 2010 - While all preparations were almost completed on Thursday, late in the afternoon the CanSat Launch event on Friday was cancelled due to a bad weather forecast. Normally the latest cancellation date for a launch is the Monday before the launch and then the weather forecast predicted very good weather, both for a nice day and good launching conditions. Unfortunately the forecast of Thursday afternoon predicted thunder for Friday, thus all parties concerned concluded that it was not safe to held the event with a few hundred people in an open field with almost no protection. The launches were postponed to NLD32, which was held on 17 August.
